This is where I share my thoughts with the world.  And since my thoughts tend to be completely random so will the content. Although most of these thoughts can be grouped as either related to information technology or anime, therefore I can promise these will be two major topics of this blog.

Anyhow for historical purposes, everything here from before September 2009 was imported from my Blogspot blog, which I believe this blog will be superseding.

So now a little about me, akuyume.  I’m currently a college student in the field of information technology.  I like to code in PHP which I usually just run on my own little XAMPP server.  But my first “tongue” for programming in was C, and then I studied up on C++, and eventually Python and Java.

Of course by looking at my blog anyone can tell I also like anime.  I can’t deny that, I also can’t say why.  In high school I did watch a few animes, and there were a few I watched even before that.  But it wasn’t until college that I began watching anime more.

Linguistics is another subject I can’t resist diving into when the opportunity presents itself.  I suppose this grew out of studying the German language for about five years (of course, not becoming fluent in it the whole time).  Since my anime hobby emerged I’ve moved on to studying Japanese (which I think is going better than German did).
