I’ve finally acted on my long avoided plan to install Linux on my old PC. After some quick experiments with a LiveCD version of Linux, I’ve decided I’m going all the way and installing Ubuntu to the smaller hard drive of this older PC; a Gateway with a Pentium 4 with 512MB of RAM and 40GB main HD and a larger 140GB HD in case I actually get the hang of this… but the Installation window has now changed its name to Installation complete and beckons me to continue this process from outside of this LiveCD OS/Installer…
